Another Spectacular Display as Digital Media Technologies acquires SysDev

Digital Media Technologies have today announced its second company acquisition in as many years. In 2021 they purchased the graphic design studio “Enueve”. This allowed Digital Media Technologies to add advanced real-time 3D and broadcast graphics capabilities to its premium services portfolio as part of its turnkey Spectacular Display solutions. Their solutions are supplied across a range of industries including Out-Of-Home advertising, Retail, Sports Stadia and public venues.

SysDev Ltd is wholly owned and operated by Arthur Jackson. The company, which has been trading since 2010, offers software solutions, broadcast technology, system design and development services and consultancy to a range of business customers, with an impressive portfolio of Crickets clubs and associations. SysDev has also provided LED screen procurement consultancy for many stadiums in addition to providing on-site matchday technical support and year-round maintenance of its installed systems. Arthur states “SysDev’s client base has enlarged significantly during the last two years, so joining Digital Media Technologies will enable us to provide an even better level of support, in addition to the prospect of an exciting upgrade path very shortly”.
SysDev owns the rights and IP for their platforms TechScore and TechEvent which were developed as some of the UK's earliest solutions for football scoring and have been widely used at several European football grounds. It was then extended to rugby scoring for use at Twickenham Stadium where it was used to drive the screens and scoreboards. Arthur was also responsible for the installation of the first LED replay screen at Trent Bridge cricket ground and the development of TechScore and TechEvent into cricket scoring and presentation systems.
